Meet Your Instructor

My name is Noah McMillan and I know exactly what it is like to feel overwhelmed and isolated, constantly juggling life's demands while trying to manage your own stress and emotions. And I know the toll that a child having these struggles can have on a parent and a family. I know because I was that child. And since getting healthy, I have dedicated my life to helping those parents and families.

Let me explain a little bit more. As a child, I struggled seriously with depression and anxiety. As i eventually entered adulthood, the problem began to manifest itself in alcoholism. But, with the unwavering support of my parents, I received the treatment I needed and learned how to use the transformative power of philosophy and psychology to safe my life. For many years now, I have been happy, healthy, sober and lost over 100 pounds due to living with and by these principles.

After I got healthy, I spent time wondering what it is I wanted to do with my second chance at life. Fortunate to have received a world class education at The College of the Holy Cross and then Tufts University, knew I wanted to use the knowledge I'd acquired through my journey and formal education to help people who were struggling and needed it. It was then I saw the gap in the support system for parents of children struggling with mental health issues and I knew that was what I wanted to do.

So, I began working in in-home behavioral health. There I began working with parents who were burnt out, stressed, and constantly terrified about their child's present and future well-being while having little to no time to care about their own. My team and I worked with these parents within their very limited time to help them learn to effectively manage their stress, support their child's mental health journey, and create a balanced, harmonious home. It is through the success that I had in the home that I was inspired to create this course to help as many parents in that position as possible.

I understand if you feel unsure about your ability to apply these strategies effectively. This course is designed to fit into your busy life, with practical tools that can make a real difference, even with limited time. I am passionate about sharing these life-changing principles with parents who need support and guidance. This course self-paced course provides practical tools and strategies to help you and your family thrive. Together, we can create a balanced, harmonious home where everyone can flourish.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much time do I need to commit to this course every week?

I know first hand how busy the life of a parent with a struggling child is. Accordingly, this course will take as much time as you have to give. Obviously, the more you are able to dedicate time everyday (even just 30 minutes) a day, the more success you will see faster. However, even if you only have 5-10 minutes a day, you will still make your way through the course and get its benefits. Consistency and quality of time trump quantity of time.

What if I don't see improvement in my stress levels or family

While some parents notice changes quickly, others may see gradual improvements. The key is consistency and applying the strategies regularly. Remember, long-lasting change takes time, and our course is structured to support you throughout this journey. Plus, you have access to our community and Q&A sessions for additional support and lifetime access to the course..

Do I need to have any prior knowledge of philosophy and psychology?
